Sunset Chapter 15 "What is it Nick?" "Honey, I have to leave in to weeks for another tour." "What? No, you can’t leave me. Not now." I hugged him and didn’t want to let him go. "You didn’t let me finish. I’m taking you with me again. Do you think you could handle another tour?" "As long as I’m with you I can. I never want to leave you." "I might have to depending on your health." "What do you mean?" "You don’t have to worry about it until we’re married." "Oh, if you get me pregnant?" "Yeah. I want our child to be born here. I’ll fly home if we’re on tour when you go into labor or on your due date. I want to be with you when you have our child." "Good, since I’ll probably be really mad at you if you don’t." Nick smiled at that comment. "I wouldn’t blame you." I shook my head and kissed him on the lips. He kissed me back. I pushed him down on the bed and deepened the kiss. "Mmmm. I love a woman who takes control." "Then you’ll really love me." I said sexily. "Mmmm." I kissed his neck and he moaned. "I really like that." "Good." I continued kissing him until we fell asleep.Me and Nick spent the next two weeks in paradise. Stopping here and there to plan the wedding a little more and for him to keep in shape. Everything was the same from the last tour except A.J. didn’t kiss me. "Jem come on!" Nick called to me from the backstage door. I ran there with an uneasy feeling someone was watching me. I caught the door as it was closing and moved a little away just as I did that I heard something that sounded like a car backfiring and felt something graze my neck. I clutched my neck in pain and slumped down crying. Nick came running towards me. "Jem, baby! Are you all right? What happened?" Nick asked concerned. I continued to sob and took my hand off my neck to he could see. My hand was covered in blood and my neck had a gash that was still bleeding. "Oh God!" "What is it?" Howie asked. "Call an ambulance!
