Sunset Chapter 17 Just before she did a security guard grabbed her and Nick pushed me down. The gun went off but just hit a lamp. The girl was taken to the police on account of attempted murder and I was crying in Nick’s arms. Luckily the tour finished with out any more incidents like that. Nick did hurt his wrist when he was mobbed but he was O.K. When we got home Nick surprised me with a house he had purchased. He said I could decorate it anyway I wanted after we were settled. It was only 1 month until the wedding which was in late March. I had picked out my wedding dress with Nick’s mom, now my mom also. It was long and white and was a tube top on top. I was so happy. I was the luckiest girl in the world. How any other girls can say they’re marrying the guy their obsessed with? I couldn’t wait until the wedding. It was the day of the wedding and I was so nervous. “Oh my God. I am so nervous. I can’t go through with his. What if Nick changes his mind. What if…” “Jem. Calm down. It’s going to be O.K. I composed myself and stated walking down the isle. I smiled at Nick and all my worries left me. He looked so handsome in that tuxedo. I reached him and looked into his eyes. How much I wanted to kiss him. “Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to witness the joining of this man and this woman in holy matrimony. Vous avez mon cœur’ The last part means ‘You have my heart’ in French. “If anyone has an objection to this marriage speak now or forever hold your peace.” I held my breath waiting for AJ or a fan to say something but no one did. “By the power invested in my. I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” Nick lifted the veil I was wearing and softly kissed me on the lips. I put my arms around his neck and kissed him back while he placed him hands on my waist. We pulled apart and looked into each others eyes. Nick then picked me up and carried me out of the church and to the reception. At the reception we ate and danced and when I had to feed Nick the cake I took a piece that was too big on purpose and somewhat smushed in on his face. He got me back when he took the garder off my leg. He went under my dress and pulled it down with his teeth. After the reception we went to our house and slept until our flight to Hawaii and two weeks in paradise. Hawaii was the most beautiful place I’d ever seen. Nick had gotten us a suite. After our luggage was put away we went for a walk on the beach in out bathing suits. “I can’t believe we’re actually married.” I said. “I can. I love you Jem.” We were just heading into the hotel when Nick said, “Jem, could you stay right here, I have to do something and then I’ll come get you.” “Nick! What could you possibly have to do on our first night of out honey moon?” “You’ll see.” And with that he ran into the hotel. I waited about 20 minutes before Nick came back in a very casual outfit which I think was over his suit. “Took you long enough.” “Sorry. Come on.” He took my up to our room and before we entered he blindfolded me. We went into the room and Nick slipped something long over my head and took off my bikini. He sat me down at a chair and un-blindfolded me. I opened my eyes to a candlelit dinner of pasta and there were scented candles all over the room. It was so beautiful. Nick had slipped on of those long gowns with a slip up the leg from Victoria’s secret over me and it was a pale green. He sat across from me and started eating. Half-way through he got up and went to the bathroom. He came back and started feeding me. After we had eaten he picked me up and carried me to the bathroom in which the huge tub was filled and had scented strawberry oils in it. He rook off what I was wearing and let me take off what he was wearing. He then got in the tub and helped me in. I laid back on him. We just laid there which nick rubbed his hands over me. “Your skins so soft and these oils make it softer.” I turned my head to look at him. We kissed for a while then Nick picked me up and got out. He dried me off while I dried him off. I wrapped a towel around me while Nick laid me down on the bed. He took off the towel and got under the covers with me.
