Going Home Chapter 12 Kim woke up and saw Nick next to her. She smiled faintly at him. "Hey, morning Sunshine." Nick kissed her on her head. She smiled again and snuggled up to him wrapping her arm around him. "I dreamt of doing that with someone I truly love but I never knew Nick Carter would be the first." Nick laughed, "Me too...I mean with someone so beautiful.." "Hmm...is everyone home?" "Um..I don't know where Erika is..I think she'll be home soon and the newly weds are downstairs." Nick answered her. Then both heard Erika came home downstairs and heard her greeted Kevin and Katie. "Oh no! Hurry up and changed..." Kim jumped out of bed and ran around looking for pieces of her clothing. "Why?" Nick asked. "Because Erika will start to ask about all these stuff and then she'll yell at you and stuff." Kim said. "Oh...well, is there something wrong with that? I mean...you are my girlfriend right?" Nick asked watching her put on her bra. Kim stopped. "Oh..I'm sorry.." She noticed he was feeling kinda down by the way she acted. "Are you embarassed of me?" "No...why do you think that? Um...no, of course not. It's just that..." She was interupted. "Hi guys! Um...What's going on?" Erika asked. "Nothing!" Kim and Nick shouted. "Okay! Gosh!" Erika just stared at them. "Um..Kim? Why are you half dressed?" "Oh...I just woke up and Nick came to see me early this morning...you know..he missed me." Kim lied and smiled. "Oh okay! Well, I'm tired...I'm gonna go shower...do you guys wanna do something later?" Erika asked them. "Yeah...you wanna go fishing?" Nick asked. "Oh wait..I have a date with Lance. Why don't you two go....Have fun at the lake!!" Erika finally said and left Kim's room. "Um..I gotta go home and clean up a little...I'll pick you up later.." Nick said. Kim just watched him gave her a kiss and left her room. 'What's wrong with her? This is such a great guy?'"Hey Kim! I'm here to pick up Erika!" Lance smiled widely. "Oh...Erika!! Lance is here!!!!" Kim shouted and went back to her book on the couch. "Hey Lance...let's go.." Erika came downstairs and gave him a hug. "Oh Kim? You gonna stay here alone? Where's Nick?" "Um..he'll come by later...I guess." Kim sounded sad but she didn't wanted Erika to notice. "Okay..well, I'll go with Lance now..I hope you have two have fun..." "Yeah sure will...bye.." She waved to them."So what do we do?" Lance said. "I don't know...got any ideas?" She asked. "Well, considering you a city girl, you've never ridden a horse." Lance smiled. "Of course not...we're not going to go ride a horse are we?" "Why not? I wanna teach you." "Hmm...but I don't know anything about horses..." Erika whined. "That's why I'm here..." Lance laughed and placed his hand on hers. The two went to the near by horse ranch and rented a horse... Lance was a pro. He was really good! Erika couldn't believe how he got the talent of riding a horse. "Wow...you're great at this aren't you." She told him as she sat behind him with her arms around his waist. "You bet.." He said and took his cowboy hat off and put it on her. She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, while sitting closer to him. They talked and laughed. This was the chance for Erika to get to know his life in Mississippi. It turned out that Lance was such a michievious little kid. He made her laughed the whole time.Kim opened the door to see Nick in a suit. "Um Nick? I thought we were going fishing." "Yeah, but I had something in mind." He took her hand and kissed her. "Oh...then I should go get dress don't I?" She smiled at him. "Yup.." He answered and nodded. "Okay...wait for a minute.." She said and ran upstairs to get dress. She slipped on a simple blue dress and pulled her hair back in a messy twist and add some spray that brought out the highlights of the brown color. She put on a little gloss and went downstairs. "Okay...let's go..where are we going anyways?" "I want you to meet my family." He told her. "Your family! I need to get dress up." She told him. Kim was about to go back upstairs when he pulled on her hand and started to laugh. "You are dressed up...don't worry. I just want them meet my girlfriend." Nick wink at her. "Okay..." Kim took a deep breath and left with Nick."Hmm...I have never had a date like this." Erika laughed. "Really? Well, I just thought this will be fun." Lance said. "It is fun! I mean...who would take me to a horse ranch and ride a horse on a date. And now I'm eating southern fried chicken! This is such a beautiful place though." Erika said as she looked out to a piece of land that was full of grasses and little cabins with horses. The two ate their meals and sat there next to each other staring at the horses on the fields. Erika had her head rested on his shoulders and held his hand while they whispered to each other. And then the sun set. "Wow...first I saw the sun rose this morning and now it's setting." Erika said. "Yeah...it's beautiful..and both time I'm with you." Lance looked into her eyes. Erika smiled and leaned in for a kiss. "Let's go...before it gets too dark. You wanna come over? Justin says he misses you." Lance laughed. "Really..." Erika made a face and laughed. "Okay..we'll do something with that desperate boy.""Hi...um..Kim.." Kim shook her hand with Bob and Jane Carter. "Hi! I'm Aaron..and it's nice to meet you!" Aaron Carter greeted her with a big kid smile. "Wow..you look like Nick.." Kim laughed. "Um..no! He's a brat and I'm not!" Nick said. "I'm not a brat! Angel is!!" Aaron laughed but started running as a girl with dark brown hair chased after him. Everyone just laughed. "Okay..well, dinner will be ready." Jane said as she returned to the kitchen. Nick showed Kim around the house and his room. "Wow..your bed is comfy!!" Kim sat down on it. "Not as comfy as yours.." Nick drifted off but Kim ignored it. "So...." Kim wondered what they were going to do next. "Sooo...." Nick came closer and kissed her. His kisses were so sweet, Kim didn't wanted to pull away. "Um...Nick, your parents are home." "I know...I'm sorry.." "It's okay! C'mon let's go see what your sisters and brother are doing?!!" Kim sat up and pulled his hand."Hey Curly! Is anyone home? I brought Erika over!" Lance called out to everyone. "I guess nobody's home.." Erika said. "I guess not...you wanna do something?" "Sure...what else do you have in mind." "Movie?" "Okay...let's see what's on?"After dinner Kim was sitting with Nick staring at the starry sky at the nearby lake next to his house. He suddenly took her hand. "I'm sorry if I was moving too fast. I know you didn't want to get serious..but I told Kevin that I really love you. He was lecturing me too..so you don't have to be afraid cuz that will never happen again. I'm sorry. It's okay if you want to stop seeing me. I mean...I will be really miserable but it's okay if you are happy." "Are you trying to make me feel guilty?" Kim asked him with a smile on her face. "Yeah..is it working?" "Yeah...but I think you got everything mixed up." "What?" "I love you too. And I never said I wanted to stop seeing you. Got it?" "Yes Ma'am!" Nick said loudly and both laughed. Nick kissed lightly at first on her lips and then on her cheeks and nose. Then back to her lips. They heard giggling and turned around to see Aaron and Angel. Nick and Kim broke apart and Aaron started to crack up even harder! "Why you little bug.." Nick ran up to him and carried him over his shoulder and started to run around. Then he ran up to Kim and let Aaron go. "Tickle him!" Kim and Nick immediately started to tickle him causing him to roll all over the cement. Angel came in "I'll help you AC!" She jumped on her Nick her big brother and started to tickle him. Leslie and BJ came out and ran up to the crowd...and started to help Angel tickling Nick. "Hey...stop..ooh..aaahhh!! help me!" Nick yelled out. Kim couldn't cuz she was laughing so hard but then she jumped in and tickled everyone she got her hands on causing a loud noise of laughters.The movie ended and Lance and Erika didn't even know. They were busy making out. Erika was laying on the couch with Lance on top of her. He was kissing her neck and shoulders. "Lance..." Erika called him. "Hmm...?" "Do you plan on ending this make out session anytime soon?" "I don't think so...I can't." He said as he continued to kiss her neck. He ran his hands under her shirt and she stopped him. "Let's go into your room." She said as she tried to breath. Lance stopped kissing her suddenly and stood up. Taking her hand, he pulled her up and they rushed into his bedroom. They quickly kissed and fell onto the bed. Pulling the blanket over them."You okay?" Nick asked Kim as they walked to his car so they can get back to Orlando. "Yeah..just a little tickled up!" Kim laughed. "Really? Well, you don't know how I feel! Aaron was killing me!!" Nick said. "I was about to pee in my pants!" That made Kim laughed harder. "Gosh...you have such a loving family.." "Wow..that's weird, Mom and Dad just said I have a loving girlfriend." Nick smiled at her. "Hmm...I don't think they said that. You're just making me feel good." Kim laughed. "Actually they did say that..but they also said that you're beautiful and caring too..and I agreed." Nick said and both got into the car. "Shut up Nick!! You are such a liar!" "They did say that!" Nick told her. "Yeah, yeah..I believe you.." Kim laughed and gave him a kiss on the cheek as he started to leave the block.Next: Chapter 13 |
