Going Home Chapter 5 "Hello! Is anyone home?!" Nick went around the apartment to find the others but there was no answer. "Well, I guess they all went out." "I see that..." Kim said. "So..what do you want to do now?" Nick asked her. "I don't care...just kinda tired now. I don't know why but I am so sleepy..." Kim yawned and sat down on the couch. "Oh..you wanna just pop in a movie?" He suggested. "I guess. Please...pick something that isn't scary.." Kim giggled. "Yeah..alright..I was planning on scaring you so you'll be holding onto me." Nick smiled at her. "Oh you are so smart." She smiled back at him. Nick put 'My Best Friend's Wedding' in the VCR and sat next to Kim. Five minutes into the movie Kim was already asleep. Her head was leaning on his shoulder. He tried to let her off of him gently but she was holding onto him. He smiled at the way she was weeping when he tried to get her off of him so he just let her sleep on him. He pulled out his cell phone with his free hand an dailed Kevin's number. "Hey Kev? Yeah...she's with me. Um..she sort of fell asleep and I don't want to disturb her so I sort want to tell you that she might spend the night here." Nick reported to Kevin. "What? You better not do anything to her. She's my sister's best friend and I'm sort of responsible for her." Kevin told Nick. "Got it Dad. Anyways...don't worry...I'm not AJ. Gosh...it's just Nicky..remember? Not like I experienced this before." Nick chuckled. "Okay..well, have her home by tomorrow morning." Kevin instructed Nick. "Yes Sir!" Nick laughed and hung up. He stared back at Kim and then laid down so they were basically sleeping in each other's arms."Thanks Lance. It was nice meeting your friends." I gave him a kiss. Lance placed his strong hands behind her head and was really kissing her. We pulled apart and she was breathing heavily in his face. "Wow! Ooohh...um...goodnight?" I smiled sweetly at the gentleman. "Yeah.." He smiled back at me. "Sweetdream Darling." Hmmm...wow..I was actually in heaven. Can't believe he is so cute! I thought to myself.When I got inside and rushed upstairs to find Kim but she was nowhere to be found. I went to the rec room to search for Kevin and found him and his fiancee making out. "You guys! Where's Kim? I can't find her." I panicked. "Erika..she's at Nick." Kevin told me. "What? You left my best friend with Nick?" I dropped my jaw. "Yeah..she fell asleep. Don't worry Nick's a gentleman. He won't try anything." Kevin smiled at Katie. "He won't try anything! Remember all those tricks he did on me?!!" I laughed. "Erika...I thought Kim likes him. Why are you acting like she'll be in trouble or something." Katie laughed and got off of Kevin's lap...sitting next to him now. "Because..Kim said she doesn't want to get all serious with him. She likes him though." I told them. "Well, it's late and I'm pretty sure she's okay..gosh E...you know Nick. He won't do anything like that." Kevin smiled. "At least he better not." "Yeah..okay...goodnight you guys." I said and went upstairs to get some sleep.Next: Chapter 6 |
