Going Home Chapter 8 "Erika and Lance went out to dinner and this time he took over his car and drove her back home. "Thank you." She got off the car. "You want me to walk you in?" He asked her. Erika glanced over at the doorsteps and saw Nick and Kim standing there..saying there goodbyes and kissing. Erika smiled. "No Lance...look..I don't wanna disturb them." She pointed to the door. "Okay then..wo! Nick's really got your friend to feel like home." Lance laughed. "Yeah.." Erika looked back at Nick and Kim. "Well, can I have my kiss here then?" Lance asked. "Yeah..." Erika smiled and leaned back into the car and kissed him. "Goodnight." "Sweet dreams..Babe." She smiled and left him. Lance drove off. She walked up to the doorsteps and stood behind Nick. "Ahem,ahem...Nicky, if you don't take your hands off my best friend, I'm gonna kill you." Nick quickly let go and Erika started to crack up. "What?" Kim just stood there blushing. "Go home Nicky..Kim will see you tomorrow!" Erika pushed Nick out of the way and dragged Kim back into the house. "Night Nick..." Kim managed to yell out to him. Once they were in the house Erika was laughing at Kim. "Why'd you do that for?" Kim looked at Erika. "I thought you didn't want to get serious." Erika smiled at Kim in a teasing way. "Well..." Kim pulled her hair back. "Maybe I changed my mind." She smiled back at Erika. "Oh..maybe you changed you mind is it..." Erika laughed. "So did you have fun with you 'Nsync boy?" Kim asked as they both headed off upstairs to wash up and talk about their dates. "Hold up girls..." Katie spoke from kitchen. "What?" Erika and Kim answered. "I was just thinking...should I wear flowers in my hair?" Katie asked for opinions on the wedding. "Definitely..it'll make you look more fancy and more accessorized." Kim answered. "Thanks..okay..flower it is." She made some notes on her notebook. "Where's Kevin?" Erika asked. "Oh he's at the boy's apartment talking to Brian about some stuff. And don't worry..I won't tell him that you girls came home kinda late..." Katie smiled at them like. "Thanks Katie!" Erika and Kim both said at the same time and went upstairs. After showering, both girls were in Erika's room talking...until the phone rang. "Hello..." Erika answered. "Nicky! She's not gonna die or something alright? Now go to bed!" Erika said. Kim looked at her with her eyes wide open. She used hand motions to tell Erika to hand over the phone. "C'mon Erika...lemme say goodnight at least." Nick asked. Erika gave up and handed the phone to Kim. "Hey..." She spoke. "Man..what's wrong with Erika..she's being mean to me." Nick complained. "No..she's just being her immature self." Kim laughed and Erika hit her in the arm. "Well, I just wanted to say goodnight...and I want to come over tomorrow to hang out with you." Nick said. "Umm...yeah...sure...but I think just for awhile cuz Erika and I are going to go shopping for our dresses to attend at the wedding." Kim said. "Okay...Night Sweetie...love you." Then Nick clicked off the phone. Kim was shocked to hear that. She just stared at the phone. "Hello...you okay?" Erika got the phone from her hand and hanged it up for her. "Um...yeah...Nick just said he loves me." Kim said and stared awkwardly at Kim. "Wow..Nick always says he hates me...so?" Erika lauged. Kim threw a pillow at her and they had a little pillow fight, but silenced when the phone rang. "Nicky! If you keep calling, I'm gonna make sure you will never get to see Kim again!!" Erika yelled. "Hon? You okay?" Lance voice chuckled. "Oh...sorry. I thought you were Nick." "Yeah..I can tell." He broke into laughters. "So...why you'd call?" "Um..to say I want to be with you tomorrow." Lance said. "Really..maybe you should come over and then we'll go shopping for mine and Kim's dresses tomorrow." She told him. "No...I hate shopping with girls..they take forever and they can't make up their minds on little stupid stuff." Lance complained. "No we do not!" Erika said. "Trust..you girls just don't notice it. That's all." Lance laughed. "Well, guys are just wuss if they can't stand that." Erika told him. "Well, I guess we'll plan that tomorrow..get rest Babe." Lance told her. "Goodnight..." Erika said and hang up. She stared at Kim who was staring back at her. "What?" "See..it's not just Nick..your man has a problem too." Kim laughed. Erika threw a pillow at her. "Okay..back to the stuff I was asking." Kim sounded serious. "So..tell me more about Nick..I mean..I want to know everything about him." Erika and Kim chatted 'till late and went to bed."Hey Darling." Kevin came into the house and kissed Katie. "Your sister and her friend came home late. Or maybe I should say your daughters." Katie laughed. "Really..from their dates?" "Yeah...I promised them that I wouldn't tell, so you didn't here it from me...I don't want to be the bad sister." Katie said. "It's alright...I trust Nick...and Lance seem to be a good kid." Kevin chuckled. "So...did you finish your vow?" Katie asked. "Yeah..." "Well? Read it to me." Katie told him. "No...not until wedding day." Kevin said and smiled. "Oh c'mon...it will be just as special." Katie said. "No it won't...and stop begging me..." Kevin laughed. "Let's go to bed..there's more planning to do tomorrow." The two went to bed.Next: Chapter 9 |
