In The Kingdom Of BSB Chapter 8 End of Chapter 7: Chapter 8: *while the others are in bed and King Robert is nervously pacing in the hall, Doctor Thompson is talking to Princess Tammi* Doctor Thompson: Can you remember anything that has happened to you recently? Princess Tammi: I’m sorry doctor, but I just can’t...no wait I do remember when I first came in here. Doctor Thompson: Good news. Maybe your memory’s coming back. Now explain to me everything that happened after that. Princess Tammi: Oh yes! I remember! Ok, I came in and here and just after I had a bath and was ready for bed, I heard a loud screech... Doctor Thompson: Do go on. Princess Tammi: I went to the window and it was shattered. Then what I saw....I can’t go on sorry. It’s too disturbing. May I ask if King Robert can hear this. Doctor Thompson: As you wish. *calls King Robert in* King Robert: What is it? What’s wrong? Princess Tammi: Nothing, I just thought you should be informed of what I saw last night. The most awful sight. I thought they were only in dreams and far off lands. What I saw was a...a...a...DRAGON! King Robert: My word! Are you sure it is true? I thought our army had slayed every last dragon on the earth. Princess Tammi: Yes, that’s why it scared me so. It was huge. Good thing it flew off before I was hurt. King Robert: It flew, you say? Princess Tammi: Yes sir. Right off into the full moon. King Robert: Well, if what you say is true, I shall search for it myself. Doctor Thompson: What will the rest of the palace think of this? I know it will just damper the plans for Christmas. King Robert: Nonsense! No one is to know of this. I will return before Christmas. Now, can I trust you two to not say a thing? Princess Tammi: Of course, but what will we tell the others. King Robert: I trust Dr. Thompson can tell a good medical lie, can’t you? Doctor Thompson: That shouldn’t be too terribly difficult King Robert. King Robert: Thank you kind ones. I shall set off at sunrise. Do not tell a soul for it would have everyone panicking. Thank you and goodnight. *King Robert leaves* Doctor Thompson: I suggest you get some rest young lady. I will fix the window. After all you’ve been through, you need a good night’s sleep. Princess Tammi: Thank you doctor. Goodnight.*Princess Samantha wakes up and dresses, then runs to Prince Nick’s room* Princess Samantha: Can I come in? Prince Nick: Why yes of course. Princess Samantha: Have you heard any word on what happened? Prince Nick: Not one single word. I think they’re hiding something. Princess Samantha: Yeah something seems fishy.*Magic AJ wakes up with a major hangover* Magic AJ: Why do I do this to myself all the time? Hmm maybe I enjoy it a little too much. Let’s see, I need food! *walks to the kitchen and talks to the chef* Magic AJ: Hey! What’s up brother? Chef: What are zyou doing in here zis early? Magic AJ: I want some grub for my tum. Chef: I suggest you wait until ze others wake up. Magic AJ: Ok whatever. Bye little man. Chef: Zee you later. *AJ walks to Howie’s room and wakes him up by pounding on the door* Sheepherder Howie: What the heck are you doing at my door AJ? Are you still drunk? Magic AJ: Looks like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Heard anything about Tammi? Sheepherder Howie: No. Magic AJ: Bummer. Hey can I try a new spell on you? You seem to look good as animals. Sheepherder Howie: No way man. Magic AJ: How about if I make you an offer you can’t refuse. Sheepherder Howie: Yeah what’s that? Magic AJ: You know how you have a crush on those princesses. I can make one of them love you. Sheepherder Howie: What’s the catch? Magic AJ: Nothing, you just have to be part of one of my tricks. Nice day out today. Oh yeah, wonder if Tammi’s ok. *runs over to Nick’s room* Prince Nick: ‘Morning Kev. Prince Kevin: Good morning. Hi Princess Samantha. Princess Samantha: Hi there. Sleep good? Prince Kevin: Yup. Heard any news about Tammi? Prince Nick: No, I’m starting to worry. *all of a sudden Princess Tammi comes through the door* Princess Tammi: Good morning people! Mighty nice looking outside. Prince Nick: What happened last night? Princess Samantha: Yeah, we were all worried sick. Princess Tammi: *laugh* Oh I just caught a cold and fainted from the cold air from the window. Prince Kevin: That’s all!?! Princess Tammi: Afraid so. Sorry to make you guys so worried about me. Princess Samantha: That still doesn’t explain the broken window. Prince Kevin: Yeah how’d that happen. Princess Tammi: I dunno. Probably some hail or something cause it to shatter. Oh I shall be leaving later. Prince Nick: No! Why I mean? You might as well stay for the Christmas Celebration. Princess Tammi: The offer is tempting, but my family needs me. Princess Samantha: It won’t be the same without you here. Prince Kevin: Yeah, we’ll all miss you. Princess Tammi: Don’t worry. I’ll be back. *Elf Brian finally shows up and goes in the room. Princess Tammi explains what happened and Brian’s reaction is the same as the others* Elf Brian: Well, it’s been fun anyway. Princess Tammi: Interesting more like it. *in her head: wonder what they’d do if they knew I was going to find the dragon?*WILL TAMMI SUCCEED IN KEEPING THE SECRET? WILL SHE GO TRY TO FIND THE DRAGON? WILL CHRISTMAS AT THE PALACE BE PEACEFUL? READ ON IN CHAPTER 9! |
