Then and Now Chapter 42 The seven girls walked into their cabin early the next morning to find all the guys still sound asleep. "Hmmm if we didn't have this," Krys started, waving the video in the air, "There's a lot we could do to them in this vulnerable state." Jenn laughed. "Yeah and then we'd all be hitch hiking our way home to Orlando." "And then the guys would be upset that a group of good looking guys picked us up." Han said giggling.Lis headed into the kitchen to grab a drink with Aimee to find Boyd and Brandon all ready up. "Morning." Brandon said smiling at the two girls. "Hey guys." Lis said with a small smile. "Would you mind if we grabbed breakfast with you and then headed out?" Brandon asked. "Its fine with me, okay with you Lis?" Aims asked. "Sure." Lis nodded. "Just don't tick Nick off Boyd." Boyd laughed. "I won't! I'll stay far away from you." he smiled and walked out of the room. The guys crowded into the kitchen about an hour later to find the girls about to sit down to breakfast. "I was starting to think you'd never appear." Han said as Bri sat beside her. He smiled and kissed her cheek. "I was sleeping. That bed's pretty comfy." he stated, as he began to fill his plate. Krys smiled and looked at AJ beside her. "Morning Bone." "Morning Kryssy." He said with a grin as he grabbed a piece of toast. "You girls forgive us?" AJ asked, looking around the table. The girls all looked at one another and Jenn nodded. "I guess so...Krys do you wanna..." Krys grinned. "I was gonna wait till after breakfast was over...but since you brought it up. Guys we kinda have a present for you!" D looked up from his breakfast. "A present?" Nick looked at Krys with a wary look on his face. "I dunno...this sounds suspicious." "Nick your eating the breakfast us girls made, you can't be so worried." Lis stated, nudging him with her elbow. Nick's eyes went wide staring at the plate of food. "I never thought of that...you could have done something to the food." "Would we be eating it if we had?" Ang said trying to hide her laughter. Nick nodded, "That way we wouldn't be so suspicious." Kevin laughed as he shook his head. "Frack your too paranoid...the girls forgave us...they aren't coming after us for revenge." Krys smirked and smiled at Aims across from her. "Right...why would we want to get revenge?" The girls watched later that afternoon as the boys sat on the couch and watched the video they had proudly handed over to them at breakfast. Brian was the first one to look up from the screen where the girls were singing 'As Long As You Love Me' while playing musical chairs. "You girls are seriously wack." Han smiled. "Thank ya muchly!" "What the? A shower?" AJ asked, his eyes still focused on the screen. "Krys! That's my favorite shirt." he whined. Krys just shrugged. "Too bad...so sad...oh oh here comes the best part...Nick see Lis' vogueing technique, lot better then yours." Jenn walked out of the room, laughing as soon as she reached the kitchen. Nick shook his head and looked at Lis who was trying hard not to laugh. "Not funny Lissy." "Ah but we're not even at the best part...the hat dance!" Aimee said, "Man the choreography was excellent wouldn't you say girls?" Han nodded seriously. "Ang was great with the directions..." Ang bowed. "Thank you thank you but I think we owe it all to the creative genius that is Krys...I mean without her vision none of this," she pointed to the screen where the girls where having a food fight singing 'I'll Never Break Your Heart', "could have been possible." Two days later the guys were still barely talking to the girls, apparently too distraught over the parodies to say anything other then 'pass the...' at breakfast. Nick slammed the back down on the Durango and looked at Brian. "Are we sure about this...I mean its a hell of a long drive...in complete silence...we're gonna go nuts!" Brian nodded. "Nick didn't you see that tape? Mockery! We're jokes to them..." AJ nodded his agreement as he leaned against the Durango. "I'm telling ya Nick this is the only way they're gonna learn their lesson." "Or its the only way to send them straight into the arms of someone else." Nick said bitterly. "Do we not remember the Boyd and Brandon incident? I'd say those two are still interested in OUR girls B." Krys stuffed her bags into the back of Kevin's Jeep. "Yeah thanks for the help AJ...no no this isn't too heavy for me at all..." she yelled at him as he talked to Nick and Brian. She sighed and turned to face Ang and Aimee. "You know maybe I will ride with you two." "Hey! That leaves just me and Jenn with them." Nina said from her spot on the steps. "Three against two...unfair advantage." "You forgot Ryan in there, four against two." Jenn pointed out. "Even worse! Come on Krys you gotta stay in the Jeep. I'll pay ya!" Nina pleaded. Krys sighed. "Fine!! But if they're this annoying," she pointed over to where the guys were conversing, "I'm changing cars at the first rest stop we come to." Lis set her totebag on the seat and looked towards the back where Nick was standing. She had caught him watching her a couple times but they had never gotten a chance to talk. Somehow she had the feeling he didn't want to be a part of this whole thing that was going on. She sighed and looked across to Han who was going through the cooler. "Think we should sleep the entire trip?" Han shook her head. "Nah I don't think I trust them that much!" she smiled. Next: Chapter 43 |
