						VAUGHN TOULOUSE BIO
		VAUGHN TOULOUSE  was born in St. Helier,  Old Jersey, and decided from an early age that his vocation would lie in entertainment.  After telling a disbelieving careers adviser at school he was going to be a pop star,  Vaughn set out to prove him wrong, eventually winding up as the singer/songwriter in the short-lived Departament S and scoring  a 'one-hit wonder'  with 'Is Vic There'  in 1980.  Has worked part time,  writing for the FACE, ( check issue No. 1) for his personal account of his teenage 'on the road with the Clash tour guide. In 1984 has turned his talents to club running and DJing at Do Do's,  monthly in London, Brimingham and Liverpool, Saturday nights at the Wag and various one-offs,  ' if it sounds like a good time '  anywhere.  - THE FASHION YEAR / VOLUME 3
