Black Marble

West Face

Fifteen miles south of Beatty on #15 is Black Marble Peak to the east. It doesn't get much easier than this and the view is certainly worthwhile.

North to Steves Pass, Wildcat Peak, and the Bare Mt. massif.

East to the southern boundary of the Nevada Test Site.

Looking SW across the Armagosa Desert to the Funeral Mountains.

SSE to Mt. Charleston in the far distance(100 miles).
