Pan Finds Her Match

Chapter 1
"What do you mean, your sending me to another school? Pan yelled.
Gohan sighed and looked at his wife for help. Videl shook her head, "You're not getting any help from me Gohan. I'm sorry, but this is one thing you're going to have to do on your own."
Gohan sighed again and nodded. He knew Videl was right. This was all his doing and if wouldn't be right to let his daughter be mad at her. He turned back to Pan. "Look," he began, "I know you may not like the idea at first..."
"Dad, I'll never like the idea," Pan spat. Gohan started to say something, but she cut him off. "You're making me leave all my friends for some baka school. What's so special about this stupid place anyway?"
Gohan was starting to lose his temper with his 15 year old daughter, but he kept his cool. "Furinkan High is one of the best schools in Japa and it took everything to get you in. And it took me even more to get you it the Anything Goes School of Martial Arts. you are going, and that's final."
"But Dad..."
"DO YOU UNDERSTAND YOUNG LADY?" Gohan yelled, suprising both Pan and Videl.
"Hai, Otousan," Pan wispered.
"Good. Now go get packed. Soun Tendo, a good friend of your grandfather's, has offered to house you for the year. You'll be going to school with two of his daughters, Nabiki and Akane. You'll be leaving tomorrow."
"Fine," Pan muttered. But before going upstairs to pack she turn to look at her father, the man she had always looked up to, and narrowed her eyes, "But I will never forgive you for this." And with those words she ran upstairs. A few seconds later they heard a door slam shut.
Videl looked at her husband, "Really Gohan, did you have to be so harsh?"
Gohan looked at her in dismay, "Are you against me on this too?"
"No, Gohan it's just..."
"What's all the yelling about down here?" asked a cheerful, but concerned voice.
The husband and wife team looked up and saw a grinning middle age man who still looked like he was in his 20's coming down the stairs. "Hey, Dad," Gohan said.
"Hello, Goku-san," Videl said, with a small smile.
Goku smiled back at Videl and turned to look at his son. What's going on Gohan?"
Gohan was surprised to see his dad looking serious. Even after everything that has happen during his life, his father was always to find a bright side of every bad situation. This was one of the very rare time he has ever seen his father so worried. "It's nothing Dad, really," Gohan lied.
"Oh, really?" Goku raised an eyebrow, "Then way is my granddaughter ready to kill someone?"
"Gohan decided to move Pan to another school, and she;s not excatly thrilled about it," Videl sighed.
"What school are you talking about?"
"Furinkan High," Gohan answered.
Goku just nodded. "And why send Pan there when Orange Star is a perfectly good school?"
"Do you remember Soun Tendo?"
The older Saiyan nodded again, "I remember going to school with him as a teenager. What about him?"
"He's friends with the master of the Anything Goes School of Martial Arts, Genma Saotome." Gohan continued.
Goku's eyes widened, "I heard he's one of the best martial arts teachers in Japan."
The half-saiyan nodded, "It's also very hard to get him to take students into his school."
Goku scratched his head, "What has this got to do with Pan?"
Gohan sighed. He loved his father, but sometimes he could be so dense. "I want Pan to train with Genma's son, Ranma. I heard he's just as good as his father, if not better."
Goku gave his son a long, hard look, and for a second Gohan was worried of what his father would say, but a sweat drop formed on both Gohan and Videl's heads when Goku started laughing. "Dad, why in Dende's name are you laughing?" Gohan thought his father would understand that he only wanted what was best for his only daughter.
Goku stiffled his laughing, "If anything, I think Pan would be teaching more to Ranma then he ever could to Pan."
Gohan gave his Goku a confused look. "Gohan?" Gohan turned to see Videl looking out the window. "Come look and you'll see what he means."
The young Saiyan went to stand by Videl and when he look out the window he couldn't believe at what he was seeing.
