Welcome to Kashkha_Net By Saadi Kashkha In Dallas -
Love is like an artwork
Held in an empty frame
Until strokes of color liven
And visions make a name
White is the beginning stages
Pure, innocent, untouched
Free from abuse, free from sin
Fragile to so much
The strokes of blue and yellow
Are often happiness
That starts when we are childrenn
And spreads as we progress
Then pink and red abstractions
Resemble that of hurt
The kind we all have painted
And put us on alert
The browns and blacks are shaded
Mixed, then dabbed and brushed
To show our dreams and hopes
Are completely up to us
Alas, the greens and purples
Combine life's mysteries
To show the little rainbow
And artist we can be
But in my little artwork
I left a paintless slot
In hopes that you will come
And fill the empty spot
Together we can paint
A picture-perfect memory
And spend life so in love
That we'd fill a gallery
And when painters hands are weakening
And the years grow on and on
And the frame is old and dusty
The colors will still be strong

To Touch The Heart
To touch the heart of someone dear -
though it might sometimes cause a tear
to fall or rest upon the cheek -
Should be something all should seek.
For often hearts - not touched at all
start hardening and shrinking small.
And then the time - it takes to grow
A loving heart - is very slow.
For hearts expand as those who care -
extend their love and - let us share
a moment, space or special phrase
that eases pain on dreary days.
Or simply starts our lips to smile
and brightens time for just a while.
The ways and kinds and means of sharing
it seems to me - Are based on caring.
And though we're often worlds apart,
You still can touch my very heart.
You make me smile or shed a tear.
And I'll remember year to year
Just how your 'touching' helped me grow.
And I just thought I'd tell you so.
