Chore Info

Chores are important and need to be done often throughout the Village. All the slaves in Kassau will be expected to work on chores when not studying or serving -before- they participate in any recreational or grooming activites.

The slaves in the Village are expected to share the chores evenly. One person should not be doing all of the "hard" work while the others opt for the easier way out. At times, chores will not be assigned but, this is not always going to be the case. The Jarl's Woman often assigns chores or appoints someone to help Her with such.

All slaves of Kassau are required to do -two- chores and post them on the chore board every week. Most often, slaves that perform thier duties skillfully and quickly gain a more favorable view from the Free People.

At all times the rules for posting must be followed or you will be punished promptly by the Jarl's Woman and possibly other Kassau Free for repeated offenses.

Failure to perform and post chores on time for consecutive weeks will result in the following discipline actions.

Week 1 with an unexplained lack of chores - confinement within the cages inside Hall

Week 2 with an unexplained lack of chores - confinement within the cages outside the main doors of the Hall so all entering & leaving will know of a slave's laziness

Week 3 with an unexplained lack of chores - the slave will be killed on the Jarl's order

This is a privilege...not your right....do not abuse it!

If a bond-maid/thrall has problems posting their chores or getting them done they are to talk to Lady Chloe or a designated slave trainer as soon as possible to get it cleared up. Also, they should post a message on the OOC Wall giving a brief explantaion as to why the chores have not been done so all will be aware. Lady Chloe will keep track of who asks to be excused and who does not and how often this all occurs. Any slave that takes advantage of this system will be subject to discipline.

A list of who does thier chores and who does not will be kept by Lady Chloe. Be creative when working on chores and make your Owner and Kassau proud. A slaves work reflects not only on the slave but, on the Owner, the trainer, and A/all residing within the Home. If a slave wishes to do something other than what is listed they may run the idea by the Jarl's Woman. Remember while you work that this Home is to be an active, living, working Village. Therefore, there will be people about that you can incorporate into your roleplay even if you are in the area alone. Men will be at the docks, warehouses, mill, Hall, etc. Women will be in the library, gardens, greenhouse, Hall, etc. Of course, there would be slaves roaming about tending their services as well. Imagination is the key, description is the lock in which it fits, that opens the door to allow others to see the picture you paint with your words as your hues.
