Food ServiceIt is often considered that food and drink on Gor consist exclusively of what was available in the books. However, considering that Goreans are of human stock, and require the same nutrient balance in order to remain in good health, and understanding that Goreans, in general, obtain better health than their Earth counterparts, as well as the mention in the books of foods that compare readily in a multitude of areas to the foods of Earth, it may be considered that many of the foods of Earth are available in some form on Gor. It is also important to note Gorean foods that have similarities to Earth foods, like Blackwyne, which is essentially earth coffee, prepared in a manner similar to espresso or turkish coffee of Earth. Needless to say, this opens a great deal of creativity for a slave in the preparation of foods, drinks, appetizers, dainties and other specialty items.
