2006 (current) Principal Investigator (local). VA Medical Center, Coatesville, PA. Clinical effects of specialized treatment for homeless female veterans. Conducting longitudinal survey at one of six VA sites as part of national research project through Northeast Program Evaluation Center of VA Connecticut Healthcare System.

2002-2005 Principal Investigator. VA Medical Center, Coatesville, PA. Conducted in-house survey research on staffing effectiveness on the Substance Abuse Treatment Unit 39A/B, exploring the relationships among patient and staff factors. Provided regular feedback to Quality Deployment Team and at unit staff meetings. Provided consultation for implementing procedural and programmatic changes.

1999 Principal Investigator. Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. Developed research study investigating the relationship between androgyny, perceived prejudice and coping with prejudice among lesbian and bisexual women, using narrative reports of experienced prejudice provided by subjects from this researcher's 1997 study. Conducted literature review, developed coding system for narrative responses, supervised 2 undergraduate research assistants in coding and reaching inter-rater agreement, and analyzed data using SPSS for Windows. As part of a psycholinguistics class research project, developed, conducted and presented research on the effects of contextual bias on recall for syntactically implausible sentences. Along with two colleagues, Robin Revette and David Dumond, conducted literature review, wrote and recorded audio stimulus materials, solicited and administered stimuli to subjects, analyzed data using SPSS for Windows.
