Here are some pictures from last year's trip to Europe. It was Contiki EH198- European Horizons: a.k.a., 10 days of early mornings, long hours on the coach, too many sites to remember what things are by the time pictures were processed, and excessive alcohol consumption!

To all the people I met on this tour, you were fantastic- I'd do it all over again! To our fearless leaders, Tim and Pete, without you, we would still be in London, lost, with no cash and searching desperately for a toilet. In other words, thanks for devoting so much time to studying the maps, "Shady" Pete. And thanks to Tim, for knowing the history of the places we visited and (at times) more importantly, where to find the ATMs and toilets across Europe :)

Where will I travel next?... Well, I just got back from Contiki's European Whirl tour- I highly recommend it if you want a quick tour that covers most of the major European capitals. I was even in London on a Saturday so I managed to get back to Portobello Road Market- this has got to be my favorite place in the world to shop :-) This trip was truly a "shop around the continent" type of vacation- I had to buy another suitcase by the time I was ready to go home! My future plans are a bit more exotic- probably China and Southeast Asia or maybe Eastern Europe. Oh yeah- and I want to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and do some more hiking in Switzerland and Austria. Of course, I still want to visit Australia, Spain and Greece too... I just finished my TESOL certification so I'm well on my way to becoming a "citizen of the world".
