there was a magical TV show called Beauty
and the Beast. It stole my heart
and made me believe that anything is possible. Every Friday night,
my friend Sara Muller and I would lock ourselves in my apartment and watch
the dream unfold. For one precious hour, we, too, lived in the tunnels
-- where life is safe and everybody reads aloud...
Years later, I still believe in fairytales.
In spite of the fierce division in this fandom, in spite of the fact that
Larry lost the Cains Ballroom, I know that dreams are
real. They come true; it happens
all the time.
