| Thursday 9/11/03- The stupid cats woke me up at 5 am. So I took my temp and it was 98.5, still above coverline. So I decided to test. After waiting 10 min I looked and sure enough there was a 2nd faint line there. I am in shock and so excited. I never did go back to sleep. It's now 7:23 am and I still haven't told Dan the news. I want to wait and tell him in person tonight when he gets home. This morning I am going to call the dr's office and get a lab order for getting a blood test done. At least this test had a darker line than the 1st one I took w/ Kathy:) I still can't believe it happened so quickly again!! Still trying to decide how to tell our family..... |
| Thursday 9/11/03- Well I told Dan by giving him a card I made. He knew as soon as he opened the card:) He's really excited:) |
| Friday 9/12/03- I told Dan's parents and they are really excited. Also we made the trip to Phoenix to take Kathy to the Shriners clinic. I was really tired by the time I got home. |
| Saturday 9/13/03- I took another hpt and it was +. But this afternoon I bought a pack of first response early tests. I took one and right away the 2nd line was there. So there is no question about it we are having another baby:) |
| Monday 9/14/03- I made my first appt and I go a week from Thursday. I think that's Sept 25th. Today I have been REALLY tired and took a nap. When I woke up I almost puked:( But feeling better now that I am up. |

| Wednesday 9/17/03- After my workout this morning I had cramping. It lasted most of the day of and on. So after I got home I took it easy and took a nap. |

| Thursday 9/8/03- Tried to wear a pair of jeans I just wore last week and I couldn't button them. So I got out another pair of jeans and they fit but felt uncomfy on my belly. Feel much better in sweat pants:) I am thinking it won't be long till I have to break out the maternity pants or at least all elastic waist pants! |

| 10/4/03- mommy preggo brain moment #1- I was changing kathy's diaper and Kayleigh was yelling she wanted something. Well I got kathy's diaper off and just put her down. She came over to me crying and I had forgotten to put a diaper back on. Me and mom got a good laugh out of it:) |

| It's been a while since I updated my journal. I've been fighting urinary tract infections since 10 weeks and it's getting really old. I'm on round #2 on antibiotics now. At 12 weeks I had my 2nd ultrasound and the cyst that was found at 10 weeks is still the same size. Baby was doing great and moving all over the place:) So all is going good. Monday Nov 17th I had pain so bad from the cyst that I was in tears. I called the dr and went in. They decided it was the cyst twisting that was causing the pain. I was told to take it easy as much as I could. |

| I had another u/s at my dr appt on Wed afternoon. The cyst is starting to shrink:) I was given a note for 2 weeks off from work. Well I decided to just quit my job. Also baby is doing great:) |

| No u/s this appt but heard the heartbeat and it was right where I told the dr it would be:) Also I am finally feeling movement:) |

| Woops I haven't updated this in a while. At my level 2 appt we found out it's a boy!! He's looking great and moving lots now. Also his name is Christopher Nelson Shearer. |
