Dan's Page
By looking at the pictures and the background you can tell what I do for a living. It happens to be the best job I have ever found.
The picture above is Dan after his first air bottle during a working mobile home fire. The mobile was 40% involved upon arrival and this is what you look like after you make initial attack. There was heavy fire and I got to be the first in the door with Jim and Tim and knock down the blaze. Photo by: Matt Daulton who was the Engineer on this fire who happened to have a camera with him. I looked at him when he said, " Dan, Look here." I wasn't expecting to have my picture taken.

Dan has many hobbies.
These include computers, (Bet you couldn't have guessed that one.) amateur(HAM) radio, hiking the Grand Canyon, reading, guns and motorcycle riding.

Dan's random thoughts: Guns: If guns are outlawed, ONLY outlaws will have guns. I live in a rural setting and an officer may be up to 15 minutes away. Me without a gun? NO way! Guns help found this nation and the day we can't have them will be the day this nation of ours will no longer be a democracy.

Religion and God: If you say there is no God, you are fooling yourself. If you are an agnostic and wat to argue, don't waste your breath. I won't listen to you or give you the courtesy of a reply. If you are already a Christian, God Bless you. Hope to see you some time in Heaven. If you are not sure where you stand, send me a message. In August of 1996, I was a somewhat unreligious person. I changed and I'm working on getting rid of all my bad habits. Is it worth it? Well, look at society. If you follow God's Words in teh Bible, we wouldn't have fractured families and half the social problems we have today. If you want to hear the whole story on how I because a Christian again, jump here! My TestimonyPage.

The Grand Canyon: A true backpackers dream to hike. Hiking the Canyon is an event everyone must do once. Or twice or three times... My goal is to hike every trail and every mile possible. I've almost done it and I;m on my way towards the 500 mile club.

My Significant other and marriage: My wife is my one true friend and companion. Finding her took a while, but we finally met. Her name is Rhonda and we were married in August 1997 and she has taught me a great many things about religion and friendship. Since I have never been married before, the whole concept of it is wonderful. I am very sad the way lawyers and society has ruined the Holy Union of Marriage. The divorce rate in this country is way too high and the family is no longer a family. Getting back into the Bible has helped me see why this country is in such bad shape. People don't have moral values anymore and it is making me sick. Because of Rhonda, I am a changed person and trying to make my life with her on this Earth a very Christian one.
