Kent Alan Lilly Born: May 27, 1958 - Heaven Bound: April 22, 2004   We are connected, My child and I, by An invisible cord Not seen by the eye. It's not like the cord That connects us 'til birth This cord can't been seen By any on Earth. This cord does it's work Right from the start. It binds us together Attached to my heart. I know that it's there Though no one can see The invisible cord From my child to me. The strength of this cord Is hard to describe. It can't be destroyed It can't be denied. It's stronger than any cord Man could create It withstands the test Can hold any weight. And though you are gone, Though you're not here with me, The cord is still there But no one can see. It pulls at my heart I am bruised...I am sore, But this cord is my lifeline As never before.    It has been 4 years since you left us and never a moment goes by that I don't think of you and miss you so very much.... as well as your brother and sister and family miss you. I thank God for the 45 years that you were with us. Often I think of the good memories and have to smile when I think of some of your silly sayings and ways. You were such a loving son and I know one day we will all be together. Life is not the same since you left because part of me went with you my son.... I know you are walking streets of gold and with Jesus in your heavenly home.... I love you my Kent and my love continues to burn in that special place in my heart. There was one of you at 2 years old, so cute. With santa, well we all love santa don't we. When you were in little league, and your school picture. But what touched me very much were those letters you wrote to your Mom, very loving words. Then the poem you wrote to your friend Darlene, just beautiful.
