Australia warns citizens to avoid Indonesia
The Australian government has warned its citizens to avoid travelling to Indonesia over
Christmas and the New Year due to a high risk of terrorist attacks.
Latest travel advice issued by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs ignores
Indonesian claims that the holiday island of Bali is now safe.
Indonesia's foreign minister recently announced Bali is now much safer than before
the bomb attack that killed at least 190 people, including 88 Australians.
Australians are still being advised to postpone all non-essential travel to all parts of
Indonesia, including Bali.
