Maluku police traces chemical substances for bombs sent by
Amrozi
JAKARTA (JP): Maluku Police here have been trying to trace the chemical
substances which Bali bombing suspect, Amrozi, said had been sent to Ambon,
Antara reported.
"We have been investigating the chemical substances sent by Amrozi," Maluku
Police Chief Brig. Gen. Bambang Sutrisno, said on Friday.
Sutrisno said the police will find out whether the weapons found in plastic pipes buried
in a forest nearby Amrozi's house in Lamongan, East Java were stolen from the police
mobile brigade's headquarters in Tantui village in Ambon.
The mobile brigade headquarters was razed by fire two years ago.
