You wander down the path and see a trim cottage surrounded by flowers and shade trees. The gate opens easily to your touch and as you make your way up to the door you come face to face with a very unusual looking creature.

You are startled when the
creature starts to talk to you, and it takes a few moments for it all to sink in.
I welcome you to WarriorCat's guest cottage.
I see you did not expect me to greet you, laughs a masculine voice, many are surprised
when I do. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Karden and my breed is a form of
equine known as Kayatha. We are a very rare and often hunted species as our
fur seems to be prized among your people. We are generally a peaceful breed,
although many of us do enjoy physical activity.
If you are interested in inviting a Kayatha to live at your home you should know this.
We do not allow the foals to leave until they have reached adulthood and are old
and wise enough to make a proper choice of owners. You may visit my home,
Kayatha Fields to see if there are any ready to find new homes yet.
If you are not interested in fostering out a Kayatha please proceed down the path to the
house and visit the many who reside within. With that said, Karden trots off.

When you get closer to the cottage you are surprised by the caretaker, Violetta.

Hello traveler, I look after the guest cottage
for WarriorCat. I see that things are kept in good repair and that all the guests
who stay here are comfortable. I don't actually live here myself, my
home is farther down that path. If you'd like to visit later just keep
to this path and you'll find my home.
Let me tell you a little about the visitors here:
One room houses guest artists. The works of artists that WarriorCat enjoys are on
display there. Also included is information about the artist and links to where you
can find more of their work.
A second room contains the works of guest writers. WarriorCat has recieved
permission to post the work of some fledgling authors, and hopes you find it to your
liking. At some time she hopes to try her hand at a story or two.
Another room houses all the funny clippings, quizes, jokes and such that WarriorCat is
sent in her e-mail or stumbles across herself.
The last room is reserved for future games, contests or searches WarriorCat has yet to
finalize. Keep an eye out for the opening of this room once the site is closer to
completion.
The entryway will be the What's New section for WarriorCat's entire website. Make
sure to pop in and see what WarriorCat has been working on lately.
Now I must be off to tend my garden. To visit any of the guests just enter the appropriate room of the house.

I have also recieved special permission from all the artists featured in my Guest House (The Art Gallery Room and my Writers Corner). Please do not take any of the works I have on display. Visit the Artist's home site to learn how you can display their work on your site. Thank you, WarriorCat.
