"REVENGE OF THE MINIONS"

Starring battle-crazed Githyanki, subservient blue dragons, smart-ass green dragons, and various other beings and creatures.

The Githyanki are, in a word, pissed off. Set had helped to free them thousands of years ago from the dominion of the mind flayers, and had taught them the arts of psionic abilities. But then he had been imprisoned, and they were on their own for over a thousand years. The Lich-Queen, Lorganastastia, was the only one of them who had been around when Set was active. But then! He came back early, and there was great rejoicing. Everyone was psyched, and certain that the Githyanki were now destined to take over the Cosmos. They had developed their psionic skills, and also had done considerable work with their cruising machines and fortresses. Their leader had returned, and had brought with him new hope for their life, and there were eagerly awaiting it.

But then, he had been snatched away again, imprisoned and out of touch with everything for 900 more years! Disaster! Sorrow! Ruin! Stunned, bewildered, angered, furious, vengeance! And so, for ten years they prepared themselves. The Githyanki worked on a huge fortress to send to that bothersome material world that was always a source of trouble and was also the cause of Set's interment. Then, with their advanced 2-man craft (tested in the outer winds of Jupiter!) they could swoop down for sporadic raids, to test the area, and locate some dragons. The craft went ethereal for about a week, to make sure there was nothing there. Now they're astral again. The ones with the Adventurers had been left behind in the rapid retreat after one of their prisoners had killed two of them, and taken and destroyed a 2-man. But of all the prisoners there was no sign.

Now the Githyanki knew that a Silver Sword has been taken by someone not a Githyanki, for the locate object ability went off, and to any one of them it is a silver arrow in their mind pointing to the exact location of the Sword, across any plane. Two cruisers were dispatched, one holding the supreme leader of the house from which the missing and presumed killed Githyanki belonged.
