Racism      Racism has to be the worst scourge on the planet Earth.  This terrible touch of stupidity has killed more people than all the wars, car accidents and crime.  Just look at how history keeps repeating itself.  Starting with Moses and the terrible way that his people were killed and treated.  It isn't only the Jews that get this (although they sure get their share) but any group of people.  The Chinese during the 1800's, the blacks during, well it is still going on, and the Japanese/americans during WW II, the Vietnam veterans returning home from the "conflict".
     All of these incidents and more can be attributed to racism.  Are we born racist? No, this has been proven again and again.  Racism is taught.  It is taught to us by our friends and by our parents.  It even has been taught to us by our government and our schools.  It is because of these teachings that it is so inbred in all society's that it is almost impossible to stamp out.
     We can do it though.  All it takes is a little understanding.  I believe that if we work at it in our schools and show our kids how all man is made equal (To include women), and that there is ZERO tolerance for racism, we could make a dent in this problem.  It can not only be the school.  We as parents must stand up when we see it and say a very loud and resounding NO, Not here, not now, not ever.
     Join me in an attempt to stop racism.  Send this page on to all you know.  Tell them it is time to change.  Let us set a goal for the 2000 years and end this problem forever.
