prologue

Prologue:

During the time of the Great Divide there was a world of Arcadia. In this world there were several kingdoms that came to be in this world. The creatures of this world lived among their own kind, from the Dragon Lords who ruled the mountains to the west, the Oceanians who ruled the waters in the south, the Elves and Fairies to the northern grass and forest lands, and to the east the world of humans. However this world was tortured by the craters of darkness that would spring up to the land above. The kingdoms of the land flourished and thrived that is until the time of the Great War.

The Great War was started by the shooting of the stars in the heavens. As the stars fell an evil queen was born to the darkness. As she took her first breaths of life the destiny of the world was started. She brought the world of darkness to one rule and of started to attack the land above. Her armies started to send out scouts to survey the land above.

Meanwhile, as the evil began to grow the celestial bodies of the heavens brought forth the protectors to stop the evil invasion. After the shooting of the stars five stars fell to the land below and began to change to crystal stars of celestial energies. These stars also had color of the precious stones of the world.

The ruby red star fell to the mountains as the new guardian was born. She was the guardian of Power. Being the guardian of power came the control of the thunder and the storms. Her rage gave her the great power to fuel her attacks.

The emerald green star fell to the northern forest. A newborn elf found the star and became the guardian of Wisdom. Being the guardian of wisdom she had the control of the earthly plains and the plants life.

The amethysts star fell to the kingdom of the oceans. This star was treated like apart of the regions relics that were pasted to the priestess of the time. This star gave the guardian the control over the element of water.

The sapphire star was found by a squire to the royal guards. The star gave him the control over the element of air and the winds. This was the last of the stars that was exposed to the world. The final star, the diamond star of Magic was hidden away from the world it took the form of a newborn child. Under this guise the star would be protected till the time was right.

After the shooting of the stars five stars the evil scouts found a crystal shard that was given to the queen. Evilia looked at the shard as she held it the shard began to change. It changed into the onyx black star of Evil. With this star Evilia would make her move.

As time move forward the Great War began. Each kingdom was attacked one by one. The first was the Dragon Lords. They fought bravely until the guardian released the power of the star. She transformed into a ruby colored winged armored-warrior for her clan. She called down the lightning from the sky above to disperse the attackers. The attackers retreated leaving behind destruction.

The Elves and Fairies were the next to be attacked. The fairies were killed or a few swore allegiance to live a life of servitude to the evil realm. The Elves fought bravely against the raiders for three days. The Elf guardian transformed in to a warrior dressed in emerald green armor to protect her kinsmen. She called upon the powers of the earth to help them vanquish the raiders.  It was on the fourth sunrise of the fourth day the raiders retreated. The elves that were left alive and out of servitude took leave of their home world. They went to the shores of the Oceanians kingdom to sail to an island in the far oceans reach.

The human kingdom was hit and suffered the worst out of all of the attacks. Many humans lost their lives in the five days of constant fighting. The king sent word to all of the kingdoms around the human kingdom for help. The only response the human kingdom received was the Dragon Lords guardian. She took up the fight with the human guardian who transformed into a blue armor to protect and fight for his kingdom. In the shadows a young girl looked out from behind the wall. She knew she had a secret that no one would know.

Queen Evilia pulled her army from the attack on the human kingdom. Her priest told her that she would be victorious if she mounted one last battle against the five kingdoms and gain the whole world of Arcadia for her rule. After the invading army left the two guardians went to the king. He was concerned for the world and the other kingdoms. Power sent word to her king about the retreat of the army of evil.  The king and the remaining Dragon Lords came to the human kingdom. The Dragon Lord King Dragonnous sent word to the elfish Prince Dreamancer to come to the human kingdom. With word being sent to the elves the Oceanian Queen Arieanina receive word through the elves to come to the castle.

The rulers of the other kingdoms arrived within the end of the day. Upon arrival the Human King Janarvous greeted them all as equals. The king proceeded to listen to the other ruler?s stories about the attacks. As the ruler?s talked the guardians all came together Power of the Dragon Lords, Wisdom of the Elves, Confusion of the Oceanians, and Courage of the Humans. However in the shadows the girl from earlier watches intently to the meeting of the guardians.

After about an hour of just talking the girl slips away quietly to avoid being seen. She was not ready to be reveiled as the guardian she was destined to be. On her walk to her home she noticed a beautiful rose bush. This rose bush was different from all of the other bushes in the garden. The roses on this bush was silver colored. She touched one of the roses and noticed a pair of red eyes staring back at her. She screamed as the eyes came out of the darkness at her. She curled up in a ball to keep from being struck. She felt nothing. When she looked up she saw the guardians standing around her protecting her from harm. She in turn was protecting the rose bush. She touched the rose on the bush and a bloom opened up in her fingers. The bloom transformed in to a rose shaped wand. She picked up the wand and she began to glow. She transformed in to an outfit with a short teal skirt  and a long magenta colored cape off of her shoulders. The bow in the front of her outfit held a teal shaped star in the front. In her hands she held the rose shaped wand. She looked at the other guardians and held out her wand. At this time Evilia arrived to claim her world left out of the chaos of war. She saw the human castle was still standing. She turned to see all five of the guardians in enough time to be sent back to her evil kingdom. After the blast died down the rulers of the world looked out and saw the five guardians bodies laying on the ground. The rulers sent healers out to collect the guardians bodies. When the healers looked at the guardians all was still alive but Magic. She used all of her power to save the world, but it took her life.

A long time has passed since then and the Great War long since retired to the form of a myth and the queen of evil was long since gone. Supposedly that is what happened.
