		This is a straight egyptian Arabian mare, chestnut. She has a great personality and after about an hour in the round pen, I was up in the saddle. The next phase of her training will be giving to the bit and then into the Sam Houston National Forest. As of 4.09.06 we have logged 32 hours of saddle time.  We are in the Sam Houston National Forest and having a great time.  Today we did 16 miles in 4 hours. Doing great at 36 hours in the saddle, went over streams, crossed small ravines and under trees... an eventfull day. www.kimalotranch.com
