Do You Ever Just Wish...
Do you ever just wish you could run away?
That you didn't have to face the day?
Did you ever just want give up and quit?
Feel like your life just doesn't fit?
Like you give and give but it's not enough?
Like the going is getting way too tough?
Like everything you do just gets un-done?
Like you just want to turn away and run?
Do you ever just wish you could give in?
Your stuck with nothing and just can't win?
Like you are always giving too little, too late?
Like being down is just part of your fate?
I often wish I could just be free.
That I wasn't stuck with just being me.
I wish for once I could get ahead.
Or just give up and stay in bed.
I know that I won't always feel this way.
That just around the corner's a better day.
Fuck it. I give up. It's not worth trying
I'd be better off dying.
