LITTLE FAIRY

A Father's Love

by Amanda Wentland

Why did you leave me?
Were things that bad?
Don't you know that I'm sad?

I can't remember when,
Those days are gone.
Don't know what to say,
Never meant to feel this way.

Don't want to be alone.

I never heard your voice
Never felt your touch
I can't even say that much.

I don't want to live this life
Didn't want to say goodbye
I want to see you in my life

Want to see you close by.

I needed you
You weren't there
Didn't you care?

They say I look like you
Have your height, eyes and hair.
But what I want is a father.

The father that was never there.

So I ask my God above,
What happened to my father's love?
