Never Too Far

Distance, time or circumstance
matters naught between you and I.
When lonesome grows the soul within,
we need only search the skies!
Look beyond the dull, gray clouds
and I will be that bit of blue.
I gaze upon the stars that shine,
knowing that you smile too.
Rainbow to my stormy wind,
Dark bird across your snow-filled sky,
Dawn’s light upon my windowsill,
Sunset’s glory that greets your eye.
O’er us both the heavens span,
no void is too great for the wise.
So, when I miss my shadowtwin
I merely... Look to the Skies!
