Working in individual residential setting with persons with developmental disabilites, assisting them with life skills and support. Administering of medications and activities in the community.
* UNC, Colorado, Computer Lab Consultant   (08/01 - present)
Supervision and basic technical support of university technology for students and faculty.
* Career Employment Opportunities, Employment Consultant   (temporary employment)
Helping people with limited abilities to secure employment. Writing resumes, attending job           interviews and on-the-job coaching.

~ Attended AIMS Community College during junior and senior year of high school. Graduated from both High School and AIMS in 1998. At AIMS studies included cosmetology and psychology. Studies at UNC include human rehabilitative services, special education, sociology, psychology, journalism, computers, basic sign language, and beginning Spanish.

SKILLS AND ACTIVITIES

>Knowledge and experience working with children and adults with developmental, physical, and mental disabilities.
>Highly established communication skills.
>Ability to type 50 words per minute, and basic 10-key.
>Acquired basic knowledge of computers, both PC and Mac, most efficient with Windows 95 and Microsoft Word.
>14 years in the Girl Scouting program; four years as a leader.
>Camping and Survival skills, techniques including knife safety, fire making and safety, knot tying, outdoor cooking, nature facts, lots of arts and crafts skills and ideas, tons of songs,          games for all ages, and sizes of groups.
