| Kim is a 2004 graduate of Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls, MA. She is originally from Rochester, New York; also home to Eastman Kodak. She was very influenced by lectures she attended at the Eastman House, especially the one by National Geographic photographer, Steve McCurry who spoke there in 2003. She was very inspired by his passion for capturing the soul of his subjects. After two years managing a portrait studio and photo lab in Boston, Massachusetts, Kim and her husband moved to Savannah, Ga to open Kimberly Hatch Photography:studio and art gallery. The studio is fully equipped with a Canon digital camera and Profoto lighting. Kim has been working in the field of professional photography for many years and has extensive knowledge in all aspects of portraiture. She also has over eight years of experience using Adobe Photoshop. Kim recently finished work on a photography book called "The Spirit Shining Through" which will be available in the spring of 2007.
