* today’s focus was: “weather” * “Black Sheep” puppet visited, she said we might have to start wearing our jackets, it’s starting to get cold (she grew a nice wooly sweater for this fall) * looked at a weather symbol chart with clothing and various weather symbols * played with dress up clothes that were appropriate for different weather types * explored an umbrella * colored and did a matching sheet with weather symbols on it * did a lacing card of a cloud * looked at some books about weather * read, “Fall Leaves” * sang “Rain” (tune: “Skip to My Lou”) * sang, “Baa, Baa Black Sheep” * did Calendar Time and Weather Bear |
