Kimberly's Day Care
Today at Kimberly's Day Care we:
* read "Caillou Visits the Circus"
~ focused on page 2 of the book that
had some acrobats on it
* learned about the word "trapeze"
* practiced saying the word “trapeze”
* heard a poem called “Some Acrobats”
* colored a picture of a girl who swung on
on a trapeze (a straw)
* colored some other acrobats
* Caleb Corn puppet visited and helped us find
an acrobat and a trapeze artist on a circus poster
* pretended to be an acrobat while we walked on a
piece of tape on the carpet and pretended it was
a tightrope
* worked on a lacing card of a circus tent
* went through an obstacle course
and pretended we were circus performers
* worked on our Circus Math Manipulative
followed simple directions put one clown
under the tent, put two acrobats on top of the
tent, put three jugglers next to the tent
* did Calendar Time and Weather Bear
