Kimberly's Day Care
Today at Kimberly's Day Care we:
* today was review day
* looked at Circus Story poster and shared
what we learned this month about the circus
* Caleb Corn puppet asked us a lot of riddles
and we reviewed all of our teaching cards
from this month: elephant, horse, tiger,
camel, juggler, clown
* reread “Caillou Visit’s the Circus”
* did a color page that had hidden boxes of
pop corn on it, we found all the hidden boxes
* worked with our Circus Math Manipulative
made simple patterns example: juggler, juggler,
clown, acrobat, juggler, juggler, clown, acrobat
* played a game called, “Clown, Clown,
Who Took Your Nose” ~ one child sat in a chair
and put a red construction paper nose under
the chair and shut their eyes then another child
took the nose and the child sitting in the chair
had to guess which child took it
* did Calendar Time and Weather Bear
~ reminder to wear yellow tomorrow
