Today we focused on our sense of smell. Topper Toast Puppet talked to us about pancakes, he loves the way pancakes smell. We sang a fun song called, “Here Is My Nose”, (to the tune of “Are You Sleeping?”). We played some fun games. We played a balancing game. We balanced some pretend pancakes on spatulas. We played another game with some spatulas were we used the spatulas to flip some bean bags into a bowl. We smelled some different things we smelled vanilla, and onion, and a candle. We talked about things that smell good and thing that smell bad. We worked with our Kitchen Math Manipulative we put one bowl card, one spoon card, and one pot card on a spatula. We did Calendar Time and Weather Bear.
