Today we focused on our sense of sight. We reviewed our story prop “What’s in the Kitchen?” We talked about what the little girl could see. We used some toy binoculars and played a game called, “I Spy”. We found things to see in the room and told our friends what we could see in the binoculars. We sang a song called “I have Two Eyes” (to the tune of “if you’re Happy and You Know it”). We made a matching poster of body parts on our face and reviewed what each part does and what sense the body parts do. Topper Toast Puppet came and we could see him and hear him. We gave him a hug and we could feel him. We worked with our Kitchen Math Manipulative, we made matches. We used our sight sense to sort them. We did Calendar Time and Weather Bear.
