Today we celebrated National Children’s Book Week by exploring books. We brought our favorite books from home and Kimberly read our books to us and our friends. Topper Toast Puppet sang a song to us called “Let’s Read A Book Together” (to the tune of “Skip to My Lou”). We looked and felt some touch-and-feel books. We used our senses, touch and feel. We listened to some books on tape. We got to use our listening sense. We made our own books. We wrote our own stories and colored pictures in it ourselves. We also did a patterning page where we patterned different colored books. We love books and we love to read! We did Calendar Time and Weather Bear.
