October 11 ~ Monday
Today we focused on the number three. We looked at our Dalmations Number Display. We counted three puppies with the mommy puppy. We looked at the printed numeral 3. We sang "Can You Count?" (to the tune of "Did ?You Ever See a Lassie?"). We built with three blocks each and spent a lot of time counting the three blocks. We counted three paper pumpkins with numbers printed on them. We put them in order. We made a pumpkin vine with three pumpkins on it. We did exercises. Patty the Pumpkin Puppet counted to three while we did three jumping jacks, three bend overs, turned around three times and so on. We practiced counting out three firefighters with our Firefighter Math Mainpulative. We did Calendar Time and Weather Bear. Your child should be bring home Parent Note # 2 today.
