Kimberly's Day Care

Today we looked at our Butterfly Shape Display. The butterfly had triangle shapes on her wings today. We sang a song called "I'm a Great Big Butterfly" (to the tune of "Mary Had a Little Lamb"). We counted the sides of a triangle and practiced counting to three. We colored a matching page that had triangles on it and then glued the triangle items to their match. We talked about what the items were on our page and what other things we could think of that were triangle shaped. We danced around a triangle shape taped on the floor. We looked for triangles in our "Caillou's Dinosaur Day" book. Patty the Pumpkin helped us find even more triangles in the playroom. We did and Calendar Time and Weather Bear.
