Kimberly's Day Care
October 1 ~ Friday
Today we sang a song called, “Patty Is A Pumpkin” (to the tune of “I’m a Little Teapot”). It introduced our new puppet for the month of October. She is a pumpkin and her name is Patty! We got to make a pumpkin puppet prop and glue it to a plate, it looks like Patty. We talked about visiting a pumpkin patch. We played a game “toss the pumpkin in the basket” ~ the pumpkin was really a sponge. We danced to a song called, “My Pumpkin”. We had fun exploring pumpkins today. We strung string around a paper pumpkin that has holes in it. We did Calendar Time and Weather Bear.
