Kimberly's Day Care
October 22 ~ Friday
Today we learned about the Dimetrodon. It walked on four legs and had a long tail. It had a sail on its back. Patty the Pumpkin Puppet helped us find a picture of one on our Prehistoric Story Poster. We sang a song called “Dimetrodon” (to the tune of “The Itsy, Bitsy Spider”). We taped half of a paper plate to our backs and we pretended the plates were the sail that was on the Dimetrodon. We pretended to be dinosaurs. We made a Dimetrodon today. We colored on a coffee filter and taped it to a picture of a Dimetrodon. We played a game where we jumped over a line taped on the floor. We pretended the line was a dinosaur tail. We did Calendar Time and Weather Bear.
