Kimberly's Day Care
October 6 ~ Wednesday
Today we read “Caillou’s Dinosaur Day”. Caillou really likes dinosaurs. Patty the Pumpkin asked us questions like, “Do you like dinosaurs?” “What kinds of things do you like to play with?” “Do you like big toys or little toys?“ We played with plastic dinosaurs and sorted the “big” and “little” dinosaurs. This month we get to learn more about dinosaurs and more about big and little. We said a fun rhyme called, “Dinosaurs, Big and Little” and did actions to it. We made a dinosaur using a paper plate the kids got to chose if they wanted a big or little head, big or little feet, and a big or little tail. We played a game called, “Dinosaur, Dinosaur Where Is Your Bone.” (It was like “Button, Button Who’s Got The Button”). We read “The Biggest Dinosaurs”. We did and Calendar Time and Weather Bear.
