Kimberly's Day Care

Today we talked about helping others. Helping others is such a nice thing to do. We talked about ways we could help our friends, our moms, our dads, our brothers or sisters. We looked at a display of some children helping each other pick up. We said a rhyme called “Helping”. We played with blocks and we helped pass the blocks to each other and helped each other build towers. We did puzzles together and helped each other. We made helper coupons. Te children can give these coupons to people they want to help. We read our book, “Caillou’s Dinosaur Day”. In the book Caillou helped his little sister, Rosie put on her coat and helped her pour milk into her cereal. Patty the Puppet came and sang a song with us called “Oh, Who Can Be A Helper?” (to the tune of “Did You Ever See a Lassie”). The kids all helped with Calendar Time today and Weather Bear.
