Kimberly's Day Care
* today’s focus was: “vehicles”
* looked at a great flip book showing
some kids playing with vehicles
* played with toy cars and trucks
* put dolls in toy strollers and pretended
they were in a car
* the “Muffin Man” puppet visited
he asked us about all the different kinds
of vehicles we could think of. (We could
think of quite a few!)
* brought home “Family Note” # 3
* talked about wearing a helmet when we
ride on our bikes and how to be safe
* made a head band that said “Things That Go
zoom” it had airplanes, helicopters, cars, boats
and lots of different vehicles on it
* read a book called “Zoom”
* worked with our “Friends Math Manipulative”
patterned cracker, muffin, cracker, muffin
* did Calendar Time and Weather Bear
