Kimberly's Day Care
* today’s focus was: “trains”
(the boy’s loved this lesson!)
* looked at a train teaching card
* sang a song called “Clickety Clack”
(tune: “Skip to My Lou”)
* played with toy trains, made a really
long track for the train to go on
* Kimberly taped “train tracks” onto the floor
for us to play on
* lined up in a line and put our hands on the persons
shoulders in front of us pretended to be a train
played follow the leader, while staying in our
train line, went fast and slow
* the “Muffin Man” puppet visited
* colored a picture of a train, then folded the paper
so the train would stand up
* worked with our “Friends Math Manipulative”
lined up all the cards all the muffins and then all
of the crackers into a strait line (like a train)
* did Calendar Time and Weather Bear
