* today’s focus was: “helicopters & airplanes”
* looked at a helicopter teaching card
* sang a song called “Helicopter”
(tune: Yankee Doodle”)
* colored a helicopter and an airplane
hung them from a string so we could
fly them
* played with toy helicopters & airplanes
* tossed paper airplanes through hula hoops
* heard a poem called “Airplane, Airplane”
it had fun actions to it
* the “Muffin Man” puppet visited
he told us how the helicopters and planes
fly through the air so people can travel to
far away places
* worked with our “Friends Math Manipulative”
sorted the crackers and muffins into piles and
talked about the things that are the same about
them and the things that are different
* did Calendar Time and Weather Bear
