We do "Calendar Time" and "Weather Bear" daily.
For "Calendar Time": We take turns being the leader and someone gets to point with the "Big Magic Pointing Stick" and everyone elce gets small sticks. We point to the month, year, say the days of the week, and count the dates. We figure out what number comes next and then figure out what day of the week it is. We then put it all together. (EX. Today is January 4, 2006 and it is a Tuesday)
For "Weather Bear": We look outside and see if it is windy, snowing, rainy or sunny. We put clothes on our bear and make sure he is dressed appropriately for the weather.
