Over the next two weeks, word of our band had spread around, quickly. There were small articles about us in the newspaper, on the days that we were playing, and Bliss magazine wanted to do an article on up and coming all female bands. The interview was scheduled for the day of our London show, and the journalist was going to come to the arena and interview us before our soundcheck. I had tried to avoid Matt as much as possible, although it wasn't working very well. I had become shy and quiet when I was around him. What Lori had said coming back from the club had really freaked me out. It wasn't that being fancied was so bad, it was the fact that he had barely known me when Lori said that. I know I was being childish, but I couldn't help it.

The day of the London gig, we met up with the writer from Bliss. Her name was Mrs. Norris, and she looked around 30 years old. We sat in the seats in front of the stage as she started to ask us questions. The first few were basic, we had to tell her about ourselves, how we got together and such.

'How do you see yourself in two years. Do you think that you'll still be together?' she asked adjusting her thick framed, black glasses.

'Of course. I imagine us headlining our own tour, after our new album goes triple platinum,' I laughed. 'That's my dream.'

'Well, your first touring experience is opening up for Busted, one of the biggest bands in the UK. How has that been?'

'It's been amazing. We're already developing a fan base, and we've had so much fun,' replied Angela with a smile.

'And the boys? How are they?'

'They're great. Over the last few weeks we've hung out alot and become pretty close,' said Lori.

'Yeah, and Heather fancies Matt,' added Diane.

'I do not,' I said to Diane, looking at her strangely. 'I do not,' I repeated to Mrs. Norris.

'Mmhmm,' she mumbled jotting something down.

A photographer came and took a group picture of us, and a individual of us each.

We did our soundcheck, and went back to the bus.

'Why would you say something like that?' I asked Diane angrily.

'Well, it's the truth.'

'No, it's not. But because of that little comment, all of England are going to think that I have a crush on him.'

'Heath, we all see the way you look at him sometimes. You do fancy him. You just don't know it yet.'

I sighed, and left the bus to go for a walk and clear my head.

'Hey, wait up,' I heard from behind me. I turned around to see who it was. I stopped when I saw Matt running up to me. 'Are you mad at me or something?'

'No, why,' I replied, starting to walk again.

'You've seemed really distant the past two weeks or so.'

'Oh, well as crazy as it might sound, Lori told me that she thinks you fancy me, and now it's been wierd around you. That's pretty funny eh?'

'Yeah, that's really funny,' he replied quietly. 'I've got to get back. I just told the guys that I was going to see what was up, and then I'd be back. So I'll see you later.' He waved and ran back towards the arena. I swallowed hard, and I realized that I had butterflies inside. I couldn't fancy Matt. He was just a mate...right?

A week later, I found out that Matt's elderly girlfriend Holly, would be coming down for a visit in a few days, which probably meant that Matt and I wouldn't be able to hang out while she was here. That wasn't the only problem that had arised in the last seven days. Diane's long time boyfriend, Andrew, had ended it over the telephone. He admitted to being unfaithful more than a few times while they were together. She was a wreck. When she wasn't playing, she was in the tour bus, crying her eyes out. She wouldn't talk to anyone, and she barely ate. By the time that Holly was supposed to visit, Diane started being more social. She hung out with James alot more, which was good, because I had a feeling that he fancied her.

When I saw Holly and Matt walking towards me hand in hand, I knew instantly that I would hate her. I didn't know why, just being near her gave me a bad feeling.

'Heather, this is Holly,' said Matt. I smiled a hello, only to recieve an icy glare from Holly.

'So you're the one who fancies Matt.'

'What?' he asked, looking at me strangely.

'As a joke, Diane told the journalist that I fancied you. She was getting me back for a prank I pulled on her a while ago,' I lied. Nope, I did not like Holly at all.
