Organic vs. Technical
<part one>

The purpose of this project was to create two designs:  one representing "organic" and the other "technical"

To the left is my organic drawing.

I had trouble finding subject matter for this project, but finally decided that a water scene would definetly demonstrate "organic". . .but then what to put in the water?  After many failed attemps, I realized that I couldn't draw fish, so while complaining to my mom, she suggested jellyfish.  I couldn't of been happier, and easily created the blob-like shapes.
The design looked dull at this point, so I exeperimented with the idea of something being on top of the water.  First came the lillypad, then I thought a frog in a lighter shade of green was the perfect touch.  The two types of animals are not usually found together in nature, so I united them with the title of "Visitors"

Organic - Of relating to, or affecting organs of the body.  Derived from living organisms.  Free from chemicals and additives.

Words I relate to "organic":  soft, soothing, plant-like, relaxing, tranquil, calm, natural, pure, peaceful, elemental, flowing, biological
