Here is info about the cosplays that I'm working on and finished....

Kikyo ~ Inuyasha - Debut at Anime Next '05

    Process: 100%
Length of time: about 30 hrs.
    Cost: $40
Cosplay attire: White hair ribbon (wired,) white hairband, red neck tie, white kimono top with red trim, red hakama pants, white/straw sandals, white socks, bow, quiver and 3 arrows
    Prep needed: none

Hardest part: The last 10 hrs. since o-kaa-san and I didn't sleep. >.<

    Easiest part: Buying sandals and socks. Everything else was just a bit difficult to buy and of course make. ^-^;

Most favorite part: When it was finished. The results were amazing. And...my most favorite part of the outfit itself would be the sleeves and the openings right off the shoulder. It is also my most comfortable costume to date. ^.^

Chun Hyang ~ Legend of Chun Hyang - Debut at Otakon '05

    Process: 100%
Length of time: about 40 hrs.
    Cost: $60
Cosplay attire: Blue hair ribbon, black hairband, one pair of pearl earrings, one piece blue and white hanbok (Korean traditional dress,) belt, white pants, white socks, blue shoes and spear
    Prep needed: none

Hardest part: The spear is the first metal-like prop I have ever made. Working with wonderflex, elmers and spray paint wasn't very hard, but since I never worked with these materials altogether, it was difficult to figure out how I can work them. Still, the spear seems bent out of shape, so I might have to redo the spear (again) if I want to continue this cosplay. ^^; (but it'll be easier since I know what to do now. ^-^)

Easiest part: Sewing on the small decorations onto the outfit. The shoes were also surprisingly easy since I only had to cover a pair of slippers with the same cloth as my dress (so they would match.) Making shoes like that is a new experience for me. ^-^

Most favorite part: My belt is my fav. part of my outfit. When I spin, the long lengths attached to my waist make a really nice circle (though this isn't too understandable. ^^;)

Asuca Hayashi ~ Pokemon 'Chiisaki Mono' PV - Debut at AnimeNEXT '06

    Process: 98%
Length of time: about 50 hrs.
    Cost: $75
Cosplay attire: 4 white hair clips, 2 blue hair clips, white dress, white obi, white obi-jime, white/straw sandals and Jirachi plush
Prep needed: Hair needs to be wavy (results achieved with braids and hairspray)

Hardest part: The dress is so long that I step on it constantly. To remedy the situation, 4 clips were placed around the dress so that I can walk without hinderance. Unclipping it for pics is no problem, just that clipping it back up is hard since I have to feel for the two clips in the back. >.< Also, the cosplay is not 100% done since I have been unable to get white ribbons to stay around my legs. It's not that major, but I'm still working on it so I can have a perfect cosplay. ^-^

Easiest part: Designing the dress. Once I figured out how to add on the designs and shadow them, the task became more enjoyable (since I like to draw. ^^;)

Most favorite part: I love how the dress falls about me. It's sooo long and I like the sleeves (similar to Kikyo's) and the white shiny things I added everywhere.

Ritsuka ~ Loveless EDebut at NYAF E7

    Process: 100%
Length of time: about 16 hrs.
    Cost: $115
Cosplay attire: black pants or jeans, black wig, blue jacket with white trim, black cat ears, extra long black tail, wig cap, bandages, black socks, camera, cell phone, messenger bag, black sneakers, medical tape, wrist restraints, collar, chains with clips
Prep needed: hair needed to be pulled up on head before wig can be placed on, binding chest

Hardest part: Putting on the wig. Trying to get a good wig is very difficult and styling the wig is even harder.

Easiest part: Buying practically the entire outfit. Since the series and outfits are all modern day clothing, they were easy to buy and assemble together.

Most favorite part: The chains and restraints. Also the cat ears. ^-^

Tomoyo-hime ~ Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles EDebut at I-Con E8

    Process: 100%
Length of time: about 93 hrs.
    Cost: $95
Cosplay attire: purple dress w/ white/purple top, white belt with strips headpiece, purple ribbon (for hair,) goddess cloth, white sandals, white socks, moon bell
Prep needed: Bottom part of hair needs to be wavy (results achieved with braids and hairspray)

Hardest part: The top of the dress where the purple cloth gather together was so hard hold flat. Not to mention the collar of the dress kept on being too low. It's a seemingly simple issue but took most of the time to fix.

    Easiest part: Making the Moon Bell. Twice. ^^;

Most favorite part: The skirt is a complete circle. It's poofy like a princess gown and I love the chiffon fabric in the front. I initially wanted to do the entire dress in chiffon, but ended up with not enough fabric. But the results of two different fabrics made it more my style. ^.^

Award: Best Craftsmanship - Advanced at I-Con 27

Kamui ~ Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles - Pending debut at TBA

    Process: 100%
    Length of time: 18 hrs.
    Cost: $46
Cosplay attire: black pants, black turtleneck, black shoes or boots, black socks, silver pendant necklace
Prep needed: hair needed to be pulled up on head before wig can be placed on, binding chest
Materials that I have: red leathery fabric, deep red fabric, 1 belt buckle, brown, tan, black and white cloth
Materials needed: 3 small rectangular belt buckles, short black wig

Hardest part: Cutting up the design for the cape. It's very difficult to create it by hand so I photoshoped copy/paste it from a pic, printed it out and traced it on to Heat 'n Bond. Still, the dimensions isn't accurate and ironing it onto the cape also presented problems. The overall look is good, but accuracy was lost along the way. I may create this cape again if I meant to cosplay him more then once.

Easiest part: Getting the black turtleneck, shoes, pants and socks. I didn't even need to buy it since I have these clothes in abundance.

Most favorite part: The cape. I have a hood and any outfit with hoods I love. ^.^

Ritsuka's ep.10 coat ~ Loveless - Debut at NYAF '08

    Process: 100%
    Length of time: 14 hrs.
    Cost: $18
Cosplay attire: black pants or jeans, black wig, blue jacket, black shirt or turtleneck, black cat ears, extra long black tail, wig cap, bandages, black socks, camera, cell phone, messenger bag, black sneakers, medical tape, wrist restraints, collar, chains with clips
Prep needed: hair needed to be pulled up on head before wig can be placed on, binding chest
Hardest part: Making a jacket pattern from scratch. Sewing on the sleeves with the rest of the coat. It is hard to make it smooth while sewing on a curve. <.<

    Easiest part: Besides creating a pattern, the jacket itself was relatively easy to make. It's a dual layer coat so everything needed to be sewn twice: one to anchor the fabric and another with the sewing machine. I actually didn't mine the hand sewing since I'm pretty good at that. ^^;

Most favorite part: The entire jacket...it's a dream cosplay and I'm happy to complete it.
